What is a Backorder?
Q: What is backorder?
When a product is on backorder, it means that we have sold out and we are opening a back order due to popular demand. This is essentially a queue, when new stock arrives from production, we’ll send your order.Q: Will items in my order that are in stock be shipped out first?
We will send your order altogether once your backorder item is ready! You may wish to place separate orders if you want an item before the other is due back in stock. The V2 GKTECH Super Lock front lower control arms simplify, improve and replace the front lower control arm and compression rods on the 350z/V35, while also supporting around 65+ degrees of steering lock. These arms are designed based off CMM data, they are CAD designed, FEA tested, have CNC machined ends and the main body is laser cut and bent from 4130 Chromoly Steel.
We have replaced the dual OEM arms and made ours one piece. By switching to a 1pc design the kinematics are altered which makes for a design that will not bind at high angle and does not cause the steering to fall onto lock, both traits of the OEM 2pc design.
Going to a one piece design also has allowed us to increase the caster angle by 2-3 degrees and this can be further increased by our front upper camber arms which have the adjustment to increase caster by up to 1 degree.
These arms are on car adjustable, at their minimum length they start at +25mm over OEM and adjust out to +50mm from OEM. These arms have been designed with the OEM knuckle in mind, meaning they will work with our bolt on steering kit which uses the OEM knuckle.
A limiting factor with the OEM LCA is the strut to knuckle position in that the brake caliper is prone to hitting the strut when on full on lock. To assist with clearance we have moved the strut mount 30mm further inward so this limiting factor is no longer prevalent.
We still use, as we do all our arms, common sized PTFE bearings throughout the arm, which can be found locally, however, we do have them on the shelf should you wish to carry spares. We also use our high misalignment rose/ heim joints to allow the arm to rotate freely. We also include dust boots to protect the rose/ heim joints and have lock stops built into the arm for those that want to dial down the fun.
Finally, the arms are E-coated (electrophoresis coating) for rust prevention.

FAQs
How much angle can I get out of these LCA's?Our lower control arms can support around 65 degrees of steering lock!
How hard are these to fit?
They are quite easy to install but mechanical knowledge is required and recommended. We also include an assembly guide on most product pages, that can be seen above. You are also welcome to get in touch if you need help. But apart from that, remove your standard LCA's and compression rods and the LCA's will bolt straight in.
What's the difference between your V1 and these V2?
After selling over 500 sets of our V1's we have added the much requested on car adjustment. Caster can now be adjusted in situ without the need to disconnect the rose joint for adjustment. We have also made the V2 arms stronger to cater for high loads that the FLCA's can see when drifting. Adding on car adjustment will save you time and money at the wheel alignment shop and make track side changes very quick and easy.
Are these suited to circuit/grip racing?
Yes, absolutely. These armsuse of spherical bearings which do make them entirely useful for circuit/grip racing by eliminating bush deflection. Coupled with the built-in caster angle and the additional adjustment to increase track width.
Do I need to do any other modifications to get the most from these LCA's?
You can bolt them in as they are, however, you would only increase your track and caster angle. Ideally, you would get these alongside our bolt on steering kit and either the bolt on rack spacers or the offset rack spacers.
This for drifting especially will give you a great deal of steering lock and be super smooth to drive with!
Will these fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under confirmed fitment.
What happens if a bearing needs to be replaced?
They are common sized bearings, which can be found at any local bearing supplier. The coilover bearing is a COM9TThe rose/ heim joints used are a PCML12T
How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The PTFE lined rose/ heim joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty and as mentioned, they are a common size which can be found at any local bearing supplier, or we do keep them on the shelf!
Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
Our understanding is that any suspension arm with a rose joint is not legal for street use in Australia. However, we do recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation. Whether you use a suspension arm with a rose joint on public roads is at your discretion.
Are there any special tools required?
No, a spanner set will do the job which we do sell separately here - Open ended spanners
