What is a Backorder?

Q: What is backorder?

When a product is on backorder, it means that we have sold out and we are opening a back order due to popular demand. This is essentially a queue, when new stock arrives from production, we’ll send your order.

Q: Will items in my order that are in stock be shipped out first?

We will send your order altogether once your backorder item is ready! You may wish to place separate orders if you want an item before the other is due back in stock.

The OEM clutch pedal return spring on the GT86/FR-S/BRZ is quite stiff. It makes the clutch pedal feel soft and unnatural.

By using the reduction spring of your choosing (this kit comes with 2 springs of different spring rates) the clutch pedal will have a more direct / mechanical feel.

- 2 springs of different rates included to fine tune to your liking
- Stainless steel 304 material for longevity

ZD8 BRZ clutch spring.

I tried stock spring, no spring and now the lightweight version of the Gk tech spring.
This is the best version for me. Much more linear response from the clutch pedal and non of the free play you get with the spring removed. Great cheap modification.
Highly recommended.

Great improvement, highly recommended. I've driven manuals for 40 years (have an ND MX5 and recently moved on from an I30N) and found the stock clutch operation took some attention to be smooth when taking off and shifting from first to second. The %66 spring has eliminated the extra attention required and clutch operation now feels natural. Installation was fiddly, cramped and frustrating on a RHD car but I got there with easy to google "how to" instructions and video.

The clutch spring resulted in a much better clutch feel. I went with the heaver setting and its certainly not too heavy (still way lighter than my Porsche). It wasn't too hard to install (it did involve removing the clutch pedal assembly), though it was tight working in the footwell. Overall, a great product.

even being a new manual driver, i could tell how bad the stock spring is. installing the 66% changes the clutch to a linear travel instead of the stock bouncing your foot off the engagement point. With how cheap this is its a no brainer to get it
