What is a Backorder?

Q: What is backorder?

When a product is on backorder, it means that we have sold out and we are opening a back order due to popular demand. This is essentially a queue, when new stock arrives from production, we’ll send your order.

Q: Will items in my order that are in stock be shipped out first?

We will send your order altogether once your backorder item is ready! You may wish to place separate orders if you want an item before the other is due back in stock.

The GKTECH V2 Z33 350z/ V35 Front Upper Camber Arms (FUCA's) are used to adjust the front camber as when you lower your car negative camber is introduced. This then reduces the contact patch of your tyres and thus available traction. Our front upper camber arms will get this issue sorted!

When designing these arms we were able to incorporate more clearance in the balljoint area from the inner wheel well by 10mm, so that the arm doesn't make contact with the body when extended. These arms are a direct replacement of the standard arms and allow for -25mm through to +15mm of adjustment compared to the OEM arm.

On a stock lower arm we have seen camber as low as -5.5 degrees of camber and as high as +1.0 degrees! With our adjustable lower control arms we have seen as low as -11 degrees of camber for those who want complete adjustment.

As a completely unique design we have now made it possible to adjust caster, by using stackable shims it allows you to further increase adjustment by + or -1 degree of caster.

These arms have been CAD designed, FEA tested, they are laser cut from high strength steel, are TIG welded and to finish the arms off they're E-coated (electrophoresis coating) for rust prevention.

The arms feature high misalignment PTFE lined rose/ heim joints, that we use in all our suspension arms, that are a common size bearing that can be found at your local bearing supplier, or if you need we do have them on the shelf. We also include dust boots to keep the bearings protected.

FAQs

Will these fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under confirmed fitment.

How do they adjust caster?
We've made caster adjustable through stackable shims. By using larger shims in front of the bearing you are moving the arm backward (towards the rear) increasing caster, by using larger shims behind the bearing you are moving the arm forward and reducing caster.

How much camber will they give me?
On a stock lower arm we have seen camber as low as -5.5 degrees of camber and as high as +1.0 degrees! With our adjustable lower control arms we have seen as low as -11 degrees of camber for those who want complete adjustment.

How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

The Teflon lined rose joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty.

We stock spare bearings so even after the 12 months is up we can still help with replacements, worse case scenario they're a 5/8 rose joint for the outer bearings and a COM10T inner bearing which are readily available through your local autoshop.

Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
We recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation.

Where can I find these common size bearings?
They can be found at any local bearing supplier as mentioned, however, we do keep them on the shelf so that the arms can be serviced. The rose/ heim joints used, use part number PCM12TThe outer bearing is a COM10T

Are there any special tools required?
No, a spanner set will do the job which we do sell separately here - Open ended spanners

Do you carry spare parts for this product?
Yes we carry the following spare parts for this product;Replacement Pcml12Tes Bearing - Spare part can be found here

Caster Adjustment Doesn't Work on G35 SEDAN

Don't know if it's cause the G35 sedan has a different fender area with less clearance or something, but there is no way to adjust the caster without impacting the body. I had to trim a few bolts just to make it fit OEM settings and it's very close even post trimming.

It has been kind of a pain in to get this to work. I would say that the caster adjustment is not guaranteed and you should expect to have to run OEM caster when installing this on a G35 Sedan. The rear arm of the bar would need to be adjusted further forward to clear the chassis.

Oh well, it'll still be better than stock I guess, just wish I could adjust caster.

Hi Kevin, unfortunately there will always be some limitations when looking for both camber and caster adjustment from any FUCA. Caster essentially pivots the upper arm and when you're doing that at the same time as trying to adjust for lots of negative camber on a low vehicle, what you're seeing is physically unavoidable.

Worth the money

Works great, feels great. Worth the money especially when compared to other offerings. The stackable spacers for the caster adjustment are a pain in the ass when installing the arms though. I’d like to see some sort of way to lock them together, even if just barely because they like to fall apart and holding them in place while installing the arm is tough.

A dab of grease on the spacers does wonders but fortunately once they're in place, they are set and forget and don't need to be removed for camber adjustment.
