The GKTECH solid subframe bushes are a direct replacement of the standard items and ensure that movement of the subframe is kept to a minimum.

They eliminate axle tramp whilst also raising the subframe up to 10mm which helps to correct the roll center on lowered vehicles.

We also supply shims to keep it at OEM height should you so wish. The factory front and the subframe braces can also be used.

Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under vehicle compatibility. If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.

What's the advantage of using the GKTech solid rear subframe bushes?
The solid bushes offer a more solid rear end which equals to a better driver control and feel for the rear end. The Gktech solid bushes also raise the subframe 10mm, improving roll centre correction.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you can use your OEM hardware. In terms of the bushes themselves, they will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge they are relatively straightforward. Installation time should be around 1 hour once the subframe is out. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product.

Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?
Not really. Obviously anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration however I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got coilovers, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc. etc.

Do these bushes change the height of the subframe?
Yes, they raise the subframe up to 10mm, which improves the roll center.

Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Considering the subframe has been removed and refitted up to 10mm higher, this will change your alignment. If any suspension changes are made we do recommend a wheel alignment.

Do I need to remove the OEM inner sleeve when installing these bushes?
Yes, the OEM inner sleeve will need to be removed. This can be seen in the install video above. This needs to be done as the Gktech bushes are a direct replacement of both the inner sleeve and the bush.

Which way are these bushes supposed to be fitted?
When looking at the subframe in the car, they are to be fitted from the bottom (ground) to the top (chassis). If they were to be fitted the other way around the subframe would possibly fall out.

They are great quality and was fairly easy to install, have not driven on them yet but I have no doubts they will perform great!

Little tricky to do ur self but well worth it if your on the drift track or daily driving your z

Troublesome but worth it.

I'm with Kevin on this one... Same situation. We even froze the bushings for 24 hours and heated up the area that they needed to slide into. We ended up greasing everything heavily and we used a sledge hammer. My hands are still sore from this (three days later from install date). I went with stock height so I only had to use the spacers on top, but now for the rear bigger bushings the lips aren't flush so hopefully I never have to use the small washers provided to raise the sub frame. I was in between a 3 and 4 star because how many other brands bushings slide right in after the freezing and heating process but these paired with all gkteck products listed / Solid motor mounts, solid transmission mounts, solid differential bushings, solid sub frame bushings (above) and differential brace it was a night and day difference.

This has to be the biggest pain in the 350Z

High quality products (as always) but the bushing were too big. GKTech wants them to be pressed in unlike other types that can be tapped or pounded in with a mallet and a piece of wood. These were so oversized that they couldn't be pressed in with a 20 ton press. Of course everybody has a 20 ton press? right? After much sanding and polishing I was able to get them to drop in 1/2 to 3/4 the way and press the rest of the way. This added to the already delightfully annoying job of cutting the old bushings out. I even did the obligatory freeze the bushings and heat the frame but that only work then parts are within a thou. To be fair, I didn't mic the parts before or after so the pictures I sent GKTech will have to speak for themselves. Had I measured everything before I probably would have returned them. All my other GKTech products are awesome and I plan on ordering more. I had the diff bushing as well and they were fine. Oh well, nobodies perfect.

Hi Kevin, sorry to hear of the trouble you had. We've checked a number of bushings here and did find a small number of bushings a littler larger than our engineers specs. We will now check all the stock we have on the shelf to ensure no more go out that are out of tolerance. Thank you for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
